Elected Director
Pier Marketing
Good PR and communication is essential to ensure we continue building the East of England as an energy powerhouse with local, national and political support; and this is where Kate can really add value for EEEGR.
With a passion for renewables and, having grown up in Felixstowe, a keen champion for the region, Kate has over 25 years’ PR and communications experience, the past 18 years at director level.
Whilst growing successful PR firm Pier, Kate has worked on solar projects for BSR Energy and Low Carbon, offshore wind projects with RWE and ScottishPower Renewables, as well as SP Energy Networks, FreePort East, ORE Catapult, Generate and a number of supply chain businesses including Seajacks, Perceptual Robotics and GEV Group.
Kate would like to use her communications skills to support EEEGR. She is also interested in the Skills for Energy working group and Membership & Sponsorship Champion role where she would aim to use Pier’s wider network of clients and contacts to grow awareness of the benefits that EEEGR brings and use her skills to help refine the strategy and find creative solutions to attract more members and increase sponsorship.
