Water Scarcity Survey – Suffolk County Council seeks to understand economic costs in the region

The project aims to carry out an economic analysis that quantifies the current economic and potential future economic costs of water scarcity in the region. The work involves identifying key sectors to be included, developing scenario storylines for how water scarcity could be approached, modelling water availability and requirements under each scenario, and assessing the associated economic impacts. The project manager at Suffolk County Council is Tom Mann.

The team have pulled together tables outlining the information being sought on use cases for water efficiency and water storage measures. Each table includes a list of data types in one column with space in the second column for responses.

If respondents have more than one use case, please complete a separate copy of the relevant table for each case. You can download the table here: https://eeegr.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Use-cases-for-water-efficiency-data-request.docx

Please complete the table as fully as you can, before emailing them to Madeleine Starr and Elizabeth Daly, and thank you for your help.
