Zoë Keeton OBE is the Head of Stakeholder & Localisation Management for RWE Renewables one of the main offshore renewables developers in the UK, with four operational and two pipeline projects in the East of England region.
Her role looks to develop innovation, skills and the supply chain within the industry. She was actively involved in the negotiation of the Offshore Wind Sector Deal between industry and government, designed to maximize the benefits which the sector can bring to local and the wider the UK economies. As Chair of the Expert Group for the Offshore Transmission Network Review, she is also working with government to create a new grid network connection regime.
With over 30 years in the energy industry and experienced, Zoë has worked with in both the private and government sectors. As part of this, she established the government’s Aviation Management Board to address the impacts of wind farms on radar, has chaired the Wind Farm Noise Working Group which was tasked with assessing planning criteria and helped designed the Contract for Difference regime.
