Perenco
Andy was born in Great Yarmouth and started his career in 1995 after graduating from the University of East Anglia. He gained international offshore work experience with a locally based seismic survey organisation and progressed to specialise in instrumentation. Andy joined AMEC in 2000 as an Instrument Engineer supporting Shell’s Southern North Sea assets and subsequently moved to Perenco as Instrument Technical Authority in 2004.
During his time with Perenco, Andy has progressed through a number of positions including Offshore Operations Engineer, Operations Support Team Leader, Operations Asset Superintendent, Southern North Sea Projects Manager and Assurance Manager.
Andy is passionate about promoting engineering careers to young people and has worked with EEEGR for over ten years, supporting STEM based educational initiatives in schools and colleges. He closely supports Perenco’s graduate programme and is a member of the EEEGR Skills for Energy work group.
