Alan Highet is the Energy lead in the East of England for the Department for Business & Trade (DBT). He has over 10 years’ experience advising East of England energy companies on international trade, including reaching new overseas customers via specialist colleagues based in British Embassies and High Commissions worldwide. Prior to joining DBT, Alan was a UK sector specialist for the Norwegian Trade Council at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in London; and before that worked in industry.
