Virginia Beach

The US's two largest offshore wind projects are to be built off Virginia Beach between 2024 and 2028: Dominion Energy's CVOW (2.64 GW) and Avangrid Renewables' Kittyhawk (2.5 GW). Virginia Beach and its wider region is forming a large and diverse industrial base to support these developments, leveraging a strong existing maritime industry and marine expertise. The City of Virginia Beach has dedicated project managers to help UK and other overseas companies to establish business operations in the area.
