Our Great Yarmouth Facility has a prominent location in the river with a total of 2 working berths including a multi operations berth on 7A, which enables cargo handling, water and fuelling to be performed simultaneously, thus reducing turnaround times and multiple vessel movements in the river.
Peterson operates a dedicated transport fleet of plant and equipment including, a dedicated dockside crane, forklifts from 1.6 to 16 tonne and dedicated haulage. The Great Yarmouth site has a dedicated and experienced team, multi skilled and trained in all aspects of quayside, warehousing and yard operations. The facility/services are available 24/7
Decommissioning Services
Peterson also operate a specialist decommissioning facility in the Outer Harbour with partners Veolia.
The decommissioning facility is sited directly behind the west Terminal 4 quayside in the Great Yarmouth outer harbour, is permitted/licensed and ready to receive offshore structures from the North Sea. The location is ideal for the disposal of SNS platforms, reducing sailing distances for removal contractors.
