Norfolk Community Foundation is dedicated to creating a stronger, more connected Norfolk by supporting local charities and community groups working to tackle the issues that matter most.

From tackling food insecurity and building skills, to supporting communities in delivering greening initiatives that reduce global climate impact, the Foundation helps local groups take action and drive meaningful change. By providing funding, advice, and practical support, it empowers over 2,000 charitable organisations across Norfolk to thrive - reaching one in four people in the county.

At the heart of the Foundation’s approach is the belief that lasting change happens through collaboration. It works closely with communities, funders, and businesses to identify needs and deliver practical solutions.

As part of this, the Foundation is proud to partner with members of the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR), helping energy industry companies deliver positive social impact through their community investment. This includes administering and distributing community funds to local voluntary sector organisations, particularly those supporting initiatives that build STEM skills in young people and deliver environmental and climate-conscious projects such as nature recovery, renewable energy, and sustainable transport.

The Foundation also facilitates skills-based volunteering, connecting energy sector professionals with local charities and community projects. Through mentoring, strategic support, and pro bono services, businesses can share expertise while supporting charities to grow and innovate.

Through its Good for Good initiative, the Foundation makes it easy for businesses to give back - whether through funding, time, skills, or assets - creating shared value for communities and companies alike.
