Griffin’s team members have been pioneering offshore welfare solutions since 2016. The company's commitment stems from a deep, insider understanding of the offshore wind industry, having spent thousands of hours directly experiencing the challenges—from pioneering early windfarm construction to conducting blade maintenance in harsh conditions where vessels were the only welfare option. This unique perspective led to the Director’s founding of Pegasus Welfare and the development of the wind industry's first certified welfare solution, including patents for offshore toilet technology.

Griffin's mission is rooted in elevating human dignity and protecting the environment. Recognising that current welfare solutions are basic and often an afterthought, Griffin designed its latest welfare solution, the Liftaloo, (available through Cargostore) to meet the industry's need for a fit-for-purpose, robust solution. Designed using FEA and proven through rigorous testing, including 5-meter drop tests with full waste tanks, the cabin is 100% leakproof and built to withstand extreme conditions and high shock loads.

Griffin is dedicated to compliance, successfully meeting new HSE demands for hot water without external power—a compliant patented industry first. Welfare features include marine toilets as found on superyachts, a patented seat-lifting design that negates the need for a separate urinal, and biodegradable sanitary disposal bins.
Griffin's staff are members of Portable Sanitation Europe, hold national sanitation qualifications, and actively engage with the UK HSE to design the next generation of offshore and Civil construction welfare.
