G&M Tex Ltd is a supplier of industrial and marine AC generator sets. G&M Tex's history can be traced back to 1938 and have a reputation for the high quality manufacture of open or enclosed sets. The company have in-house mechanical and electrical design capability, 3D modelling, a dedicated fabrication shop plus a large assembly area for completion of the builds. Included is a dedicated paint booth and four test bays. The Suffolk company location makes G&M ideal in servicing the needs of local energy and M&E contractors. G&M is a supplier to the offshore renewable and onshore energy sectors, specialising in containerised generator sets for the construction and operational phases of electrical substations. G&M is developing hybrid technology to assist construction start up projects with generator/battery supply assistance until renewable supplies are built and established. G&M is one of only two fully approved generator manufacturers to the National Grid.
