Constructionarium

Constructionarium is a not-for-profit, independent training provider offering unique, hands-on learning experiences for students and professionals working within the built environment. We specialise in delivering CITB-approved and CPD-accredited training, making us an ideal partner for staff inductions, early careers/graduate development programmes, joint venture collaborations, and skills enhancement. In addition to our core experiential learning programmes, we also offer a range of short courses designed to support specific training needs within the construction and engineering sectors.
Our flagship offering is an immersive, five-day experiential learning programme where participants work in teams of 16 to 22 to construct scaled replicas of iconic global structures (the Gherkin, Millau Cable Bridge etc). Delivered on our purpose-built live site simulator, this practical approach bridges the gap between academic learning and industry practice, providing a safe yet realistic environment to apply and develop new skills.
Through this experience, participants enhance both technical competencies and essential transferable skills. They gain valuable insights into construction processes, project management, health and safety, and risk management, while also developing teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Our projects replicate the pressures and challenges of real-life construction environments, helping participants build confidence and resilience.
Constructionarium works closely with academic institutions, employers, and industry partners to ensure our programmes and short courses align with current and emerging industry needs. Our training is proven to inspire, develop talent, and enhance employability, helping to shape a skilled and confident workforce equipped to deliver the complex infrastructure projects of the future.
