Citizens Advice North East Suffolk
We provide free, confidential and impartial advice and campaign on big issues affecting our people's lives. Our goal is to find a way forward whatever problems people face. Our services are open to everyone but for members of EEEGR that often find themselves working overseas you can contact us wherever you are in the world securely by filling out an online Advice Enquiry Form on our website www.nesuffolkcab.org.uk, and we will respond on email and promptly provide you with advice on your options at no charge and in complete confidence. You can even upload documents. And if you've time on your hands with a long 28/28 rota, or if you're facing retirement and still want to feel valuable, we've volunteering opportunities here in Lowestoft, Beccles or Bungay for you to train to be an Adviser too. If you've ever had an interest in law, want to help people get back on track, this is a very rewarding opportunity. We've also got three small offices and a large meeting room to rent at St Margaret's House if any companies are looking for space very close to Lowestoft Harbour with a couple of parking spaces (probably) please email in to Sue. The meeting room is also available in the evenings and at weekends for small conferences (>50) or social events, product launches, presentations etc. And finally, if anyone feels inclined to raise money for us that would be great! Nothing unsafe of course. We are a charity and we rely on funders and fundraising to be able to offer our free services right across the community to everyone that contracts us. Getting the right advice when a problem first rears its head ca be fundamental to stopping it escalating into something that affects more the individual concerned and we want to make sure we're around for years to come to support everyone
