Cancer affects us all in different ways. Big C are right here in Norfolk & Waveney, supporting anyone living with cancer - whether a partner, family member or friend.

Our centres offer free expert support and guidance where anyone can talk in confidence, get practical information, or simply have a calm space. They are in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and King?s Lynn. Our other information areas have useful take-away literature.

We fund scientific research which is making advances every day. It?s carried out by scientists locally, looking into many different types, from breast cancer to prostate cancer They work from the University of East Anglia and other centres. We also award grants which fund critical research projects.

Finally, we fund vital medical equipment ? helping specialists diagnose and treat different cancers in better ways than ever before, in the county?s main hospitals. From specialist equipment used in the treatment of basal carcinoma; to radio therapy equipment across the three local NHS trusts. Big C is also proud to have awarded grants which all go to fund essential new equipment and materials.

Big C people help raise funds and give their time. Some people take to the skies, run, jump, walk, swim and cycle whilst others make tea, bake cakes, donate items to raise funds for Big C. People raise funds in many different and exciting ways for Big C ? whatever the activity, we directly help local people affected by cancer.
