Bibby Marine is a subsidiary of Bibby Line Group – a diverse, international family-owned business, with over 200 years’ experience in the maritime industry.
Bibby Marine is the owner and operator of two walk-to-work Service Operation Vessels, Bibby WaveMaster 1 and Bibby Wavemaster Horizon. Both vessels have been specifically designed for operation, maintenance, and construction support activities for wind farms.
Custom designed and constructed with Damen, Bibby WaveMaster 1 and Bibby WaveMaster Horizon enable offshore wind operators to work more efficiently, safely and in maximum comfort.

Bibby WaveMaster 1 – the first vessel purpose built for the deployment and housing of offshore support and maintenance technicians, has on-site work and storage facilities, plus accommodation for up to 67 clients. Bibby WaveMaster 1 can remain at sea for over 30 days at a time and has been designed to operate with maximum efficiency, along with optimal comfort onboard.
The vessel represents a robust package of performance and comfort, combining optimal efficiency with safe marine access and accommodation.
Bibby WaveMaster Horizon – like her sister, Bibby WaveMaster Horizon uses a Damen ASV9020 hull, but has been optimised for the operations and maintenance of Hohe See and Albatross wind farms.
This Class 2 rated vessel offers accommodation for 60 personnel and can remain in the field for over 28 days. Bibby WaveMaster Horizon offers safety, efficiency and comfort combined with a flawless design alongside a 2t capacity 3D motion-compensated crane.
Personnel benefit from an enhanced stepless workflow on board and as well a revised warehouse layout and a gym over two decks, along with multiple dayrooms.
Bibby Marine also owns and operates six floating accommodation vessels or “floatels,” that offer the perfect solution to a variety of accommodation needs across the globe.
