Job Description
On behalf of our client, VGC Energy are recruiting for an Industrial Safety Manager on a Permanent basis to be based on site at Sizewell B Nuclear Power Station.
The Industrial Safety Manager will be the main point of contact for all SHEQ enquiries, give support and advise and complete SHEQ visits, inspections and audits.
Person Specification:
*NEBOSH General Certificate is essential to fully facilitate this position
*Minimum of 1 year Health and Safety experience
ISO9001 Internal Auditor Training
ISO14001 Internal Auditor Training and or Environmental Foundation Management Certification (IEMA/NEBOSH equivalent)
Related work experience, including application of Health & Safety principles and practice in a Waste/Recycling, Engineering, Construction, Industrial or Logistics environment.
Working knowledge of UK and EU Safety and Environmental Regulations.
Working knowledge & Management of ISO45001, 9001, 14001 Standards.
Additional Information:
For this role, the successful candidate will have to complete Nuclear clearance which will include a Basic DBS.
