Make your mark as a Project Operations Controller at Gardline!
As a Project Operations Controller, you will cover the daily management of vessels in line with Company policies, procedures and client specifications; providing technical, contractual and administrative support to the offshore project teams. Liaison with all parties throughout project execution to ensure effective control of vessel logistics and project needs.Your responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution of mobilisations, project delivery and demobilisation.
- Ensure that all vessel related projects (mobs/demobs etc) are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop detailed mobilisation plans where required to monitor and track progress in line with company expectations.
- Manage changes to vessel requirements, schedule and project costs using appropriate change management techniques.
- Measure project performance against KPIs and objectives.
- Manage relationships of all internal stakeholders throughout the Project Lifecycle.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Your qualities
You can make your mark as a Project Controller if you have:
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline would be beneficial.
- Project Management qualification (APM/Prince II).
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 2 years project, commercial, Logistical and/or financial experience, preferably in a marine/survey industry.
- Experience in a relevant industry/Role and ability to manage vessel logistics and 3rd party vendors to a high level.
- Knowledge and experience of working in an offshore discipline.
- Ability to travel at short notice
