Event Description

The East of England Marine Science & Technology Sector Council is pleased to announce their 2026 event, tailored specifically to this exciting industry.
This specialised event brings together developers, industry experts, niche consultancies and supply chain companies to put the spotlight on the extensive knowledge, experience and opportunities available in our region.
Tom Nightingale, Equinor
2025 Event Keynote Speaker
Lots of our offshore wind clusters in the UK can claim to have large projects, supply chains and infrastructure to support this industry to grow, something we all support and want to see but there are few clusters that have been working in areas like marine science related to energy projects for so long. The east of England has a fantastic heritage in offshore wind and one of the biggest pipelines of deliverable projects in the country.
It’s therefore so important that we work together to support our marine habitats as we seek to expand the sector and co-exist with other users of the oceans. Why not lead that work from this region?
At the event you will hear about the latest developments in the industry including upcoming projects, case studies, new technologies and innovations and enjoy networking opportunities with industry professionals and members of the supply chain representing the whole of the energy sector here in the East of England.
We have opportunities for speakers and sponsors, and would love to hear from you if you’d like to come and present. Our focus sessions this year are:
- Setting the Scene – An Industry Overview
- Offshore Wind Focus
- Diversification – focus on alternative projects
- Innovation – focus on Earth Observation of Marine Environments / Global Marine – session sponsored by Connected Innovation and Space East
Student skills area
Following the fantastic feedback received from the students who joined us last year, we will again be running a parallel careers and networking session in a separate area, with stands available for sponsors.

It’s a really good idea to hold these types of events because it allows young minds to have access to the opportunities they never knew they had. Our area is the best spot for opportunities offshore.
Having companies come in and tell us they actually want us is quite inspiring to hear, knowing people you have never met before that want you to be the best version of yourself is such a relief because after college we need to find a job and it is hard to know how to do that. Today helps to set us up for our future, we never know, we could have walked in today and found our future job.
Sponsorship
Sponsorship is essential for a successful event and sponsorship packages are available from just £250, with tailored packages available to suit your needs. Sponsorship represents a fantastic marketing opportunity for your business with your logo included on all promotional materials in the lead up to and at the event. Sponsorship options also provide an opportunity to exhibit in the main conference area and skills area and secures you a speaking slot.
