Event Description

The interactive day at Orbis Energy, kindly sponsored by Armultra Limited and supported by EEEGR, will give participants a taster of Tide Wellbeing’s lifestyle intervention programme, welcoming three key health experts to offer insight and practical solutions around the subjects of nutrition, mental health burnout and sleep.
Participants to the free event will receive a healthy breakfast and lunch, provided by Café 1903 and a mini medical from the Tide Medical team as part of the day.
About Tide Wellbeing
Tide Wellbeing is a new programme being rolled out by Tide Medical after extensive research on how lifestyle intervention can reduce absenteeism in the workplace by approximately 25%, saving around £23,656,000 a year, and most importantly retaining our vital skilled workers.
🔺 49pc of working days in 2023 were lost to anxiety, stress or depression
🔺 The average sickness days have doubled in the past six years
🔺 Sickness has caused an additional £30bn in annual costs for UK businesses
🔺The average cost of absenteeism is £2,957 per employee/per year, and with around 32,000 employees in the wind sector alone – this is costing £94.6 million a year.
These are stark figures, but the Tide Wellbeing programme is focused on empowering long-term health.
Companies cross-sector can benefit from the tools it provides to retain and support staff in a time where our workforce is set to double.
A non-invasive body scan will highlight six key predictive biomarkers, followed by a tailor-made wellbeing programme and a re-scan three to six months later to provide a robust and structured follow-up.
Without this type of ongoing intervention, sustained lifestyle changes have only been seen in 10-20% of individuals, whereas a structured programme sees these figures rise between 50 and 70%.
The cost of wellbeing intervention is minimal compared to the cost of absent staff.
Participants will be able to register interest for Tide Wellbeing during the Taster Day.
