Event Details

Venue: Online
Date: 10/11/2026
Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Event Description

Menopause is an increasingly important consideration for employers, bringing both legal responsibilities and practical challenges for HR teams and managers.

With changes to employment legislation on the horizon, how can HR professionals ensure their organisations are prepared while creating a workplace where colleagues experiencing menopause feel understood and supported?

Join us for our next HR Forum with Bee Innes, founder of HealthyBe Naturopathy, as we explore what employers need to know about menopause at work, the implications of employment law and the practical steps organisations can take.

During this session, we’ll explore:

  • What employers of every size need to do now, and what the new rules mean for those with 250+ staff
  • What menopause may already be costing your organisation in absence and lost talent
  • When menopause symptoms can meet the legal definition of disability, and what that means for managers
  • Why menopause-related absence shouldn’t trigger formal absence or performance processes
  • Evidence-informed nutrition and lifestyle tips that can make a real difference to symptoms

Alongside this, we’ll focus on:

  • A simple four-step framework to help managers have supportive conversations with confidence
  • Realistic scenarios to help you spot where good intentions can turn into legal risk
  • Practical, low-cost workplace adjustments you can put in place straight away

Bee is an employee wellbeing consultant, disability awareness trainer and registered clinical nutritionist, with a background in HR, training and development, management and disability rights. For over a decade, she has supported many women through menopause in her online clinic, and helped employers understand disability and menopause at work.

The session will include practical workplace scenarios, opportunities for discussion and a simple framework to help managers approach conversations with confidence.

All attendees will also receive a free Manager Menopause Checklist to take back to their organisations.

Whether you’re reviewing existing policies, supporting managers or preparing for legislative changes, this session offers practical guidance and an opportunity to share experiences with fellow HR professionals.

Free to attend. Join us for the conversation.
