East Coast College seeks support for LOWMEX 2025 Exhibition

East Coast College are reaching out to explore whether your organisation would consider supporting the Lowestoft Model Engineering and Model Making Exhibition (LOWMEX) 2025—a landmark regional event celebrating engineering, energy innovation, and hands-on STEM learning for all ages. This years event takes place on the weekend of 1st and 2nd November 2025 9-4pm.

Now in its 10th year, LOWMEX is a nationally recognised exhibition hosted at East Coast College and Sixth Form, attracting over 1,000 visitors and featuring more than 500 exhibitors in 2024. With specialist displays, interactive demonstrations, and outdoor showcases, the event offers a unique opportunity for intergenerational learning and engagement, while promoting essential engineering skills and career pathways across energy, engineering, and advanced manufacturing.

Delivered in partnership with the Energy Skills Centre, LOWMEX connects communities with real-world innovation—offering hands-on experiences that inspire young minds and spark interest in high-value STEM careers.

Organised by the Halesworth & District Model Engineering Society, LOWMEX is entirely volunteer-led and has raised thousands of pounds for local good causes. In 2024, for example, we supported vital home adaptations for a young child living with a rare neurological condition. With your support, we hope to expand both the educational reach and social value of this event—aligning with your organisation’s commitment to sustainability, talent development, and community investment.

We are seeking support in two ways:

💡 Event Sponsorship – £500

  • Support family-friendly STEM activities and educational outreach
  • Enable reinvestment of event profits into local causes
  • Benefit from branding across event signage, materials, and digital platforms
  • Be publicly recognised as a champion of engineering and community impact

🎉 Event Attendance

  • We would be delighted to host your organisation in our Family Learning Area, designed to showcase engaging STEM activities and highlight the exciting opportunities within our region’s energy and engineering sectors.

We would welcome the opportunity to speak further and explore how LOWMEX 2025 can align with your social impact and talent pipeline objectives.

Thank you for considering this opportunity and please do not hesitate to contact us at r.bunn@eastcoast.ac.uk
