Paradigm Drilling Services USA Inc. Recruits Josh Martinez to Cater to Demand for Key Technologies.

Following the recent opening of their Houston facility, Paradigm has hired local Josh Martinez to support demand for the Driver® tool. Josh, well-known for business development within the Houston oil and gas industry, including eight years with Baker Hughes, has spent the last 15 years specializing in directional drilling & RSS technologies.

Jim Profit, Paradigm Drilling’s Chief Operating Officer, states, “We are fortunate to have Josh join us, given that he is well known in the region. Adoption of our Driver® tool, & our other Paradigm drilling dysfunction mitigation technologies, is rapidly gaining traction in the US – it’s an exciting time for Josh to join us.”

With efficiency now a top priority for US operators, Paradigm’s drilling technologies are purpose-built to meet the moment – boosting drilling performance, removing pipe buckling, improving hole cleaning, and delivering longer laterals at a reduced cost per foot.

Jim concludes, “To compete in the US market, we knew we needed a totally unique tool design with a unique tool function that only Paradigm could supply. As majors chase scale and efficiency, we needed to commercialize a patented, single-tool solution that does many things: improves weight-on-bit transfer, reduces axial and lateral vibration, and eliminates stick-slip, all in one tool – enabling longer laterals with greater efficiency to be drilled. We’re proud to say we achieved this with Driver® technology, and we’re confidently delivering real value to a growing number of wells.
