Jordan’s debut on GOW innovation stage

Making his debut presentation at an international energy industry event is TGS 4C Offshore market analyst Jordan May.

In the speaker list alongside Energy secretary Ed Miliband, and leading industry figures, the 24-year-old University of East Anglia maths graduate and former Norfolk schoolboy, will speak on the Innovation Theatre stage about 100m turbine monopiles.

The specialist in offshore wind in the UK and Nordic regions, with expertise in LCOE (levelized cost of electricity), has been with TGS 4COffshore for less than two years.

He joined the business after a summer internship before graduating with a first-class Master’s degree in mathematics, and is an example of homegrown skills and the advantages of businesses offering internships to undergraduates and other students, which can develop into career pathways.

Jordan provides data driven insights on project feasibility, costs, and market trends which supports developers, investors and policymakers in navigating offshore wind opportunities.

With a  keen eye on cost optimisation and industry growth, Jordan plays a key role in shaping informed decisions in the offshore wind sector.
