GB Energy recognises the east as “critical to the energy transition”

After one-to-one meetings with EEEGR members at SNS2025, GB Energy supply chain director Rob Gilbert said he wanted to return to region to find out more.

He told the SNS2025 conference that the East of England is a critical region for the UK’s energy transition because of its diverse energy mix, skills and experience.

GB Energy was “here to support the supply hain and the port authorities that are the lifeblood of the industry,” he said.

We are planning for a return when he can tour the region and see for himself the capacity and potential.

We will keep you updated about how we are keeping the east of England top of the agenda.
