As Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), Waves Group Ltd is delighted to have supported Ørsted in the successful delivery of the offshore platform and 23 foundations for the Gode Wind 3 Offshore Wind Farm turbines and Offshore Substation (OSS) and 83 foundations for the Borkum Riffgrund 3 Offshore Wind Farm.
This achievement showcases the exceptional collaboration and expertise across our offices in Southampton, London and Singapore. Our contributions to the project included:
– Attending various monopile (MP) and secondary steel (SS) loadouts and installations
– Approving the OSS loadout and installation
– Managing and approving numerous jack-up rig (JU) moves
– Approving multiple tug and tow sailaways
– Conducting over 30 vessel suitability surveys to ensure the safe and efficient operation of project vessels.
Together, the Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 Offshore Wind Farms will boast a combined capacity of over 1.1 GW, capable of supplying renewable power to approximately 1.2 million German households.
